Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse to coordinate and complete preoperative assessments for patients scheduled for surgery.

The PAT RN ensures patients are medically optimized, reviews diagnostics, coordinates with physicians and departments, and provides patient education.

This role helps reduce delays by identifying risks and ensuring all documentation and clearances are completed in advance.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and complete preoperative assessment for patients.
• Ensure patients are medically optimized and prepared for surgery.
• Identify potential clinical risks to reduce delays and cancellations.
• Ensure documentation, laboratory testing, and clearances are completed in advance.
