St. Peter’s Health Partners is seeking an RN for Days Pre Admission Testing at St. Peter’s Hospital. The role focuses on patient assessment, coordinating pre-op services, and teaching patients before surgery.

The nurse will review charts, resolve diagnostic issues, and interface with physicians and the anesthesia department daily. Current NYS RN license required; ASN/BSN preferred and 1 year of acute care nursing experience.

Qualifikationen

• Current NYS RN license required.
• ASN or BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Acute care nursing experience; minimum 3 years Med/Surg preferred.

• Assess patients in the pre-admission testing area.
• Coordinate services needed before surgery and pre-op teaching.
• Review charts for diagnostic test issues prior to surgery and liaise with physicians and anesthesia.
• Support continuity of care across surgical services.
