Job summary

Community Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse in Pre-Admission Testing to join a dedicated team. You will facilitate patient flow through the pre-operative testing process, perform tests, gather information, and ensure efficient, complete, and timely coordination in line with our customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensed in Oklahoma.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; Previous surgery or critical care experience preferred
• Venipuncture and EKG experience required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate flow of patients through pre-admission testing.
• Gather information and perform pre-operative tests.
• Escort patients through diagnostic testing in a timely manner.
• Adjust to changing workflow in a fast-paced unit.
• Ensure adherence to hospital customer service policy.
• Perform skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs as ordered.
