Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required with 18 graduate credit hours in the subject being taught.
• CPA preferred.

• Degrees must be accredited by an approved agency or equivalent.
• Additional requirements may apply by state licensing or accreditation.
• Faculty must have subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus and terminal course objectives.
• Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises course materials.
• Uses appropriate online technologies and course-related software to make content accessible.
• Models effective oral and written communications.
• Sets course expectations with terminal objectives, dates, and grade distributions.
• Ensures exams align with objectives and provides timely feedback.
• Demonstrates fairness in grading and feedback for exams.
• Embraces responsible AI in the classroom to enhance outcomes and evaluate AI use in work.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
