Job summary

AEG is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a patient-centered ophthalmic site, developing the team, delivering exceptional care, and driving business results.

You will guide daily operations, staffing, and service standards, partner with the Optometrist, and coach staff in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes accountability, compassionate leadership, and adoption of new systems and AI-enabled tools to improve patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of leadership in optical/healthcare or comparable service environment.
• Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills.
• Ability to analyze reports and align team to care standards.
• Experience with practice operations and patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, and labor planning.
• Serve as primary on-site floor leader ensuring service excellence and real-time priorities.
• Coach and develop staff, set expectations, and drive performance to standards.
• Partner with Optometrist to align exam flow and service offerings.
• Monitor performance trends and implement improvements.
