AEG Vision in Providence, RI is seeking a Licensed Practice Manager to lead the on-site team, ensure high-quality patient care, and drive business results. The position requires a strong leader with the ability to coach staff, manage operations, and adapt to evolving technology and AI-enabled workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in optical or healthcare
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
• Strong communication, observation, and follow-up skills
• Ability to analyze reports and patient feedback
• Ability to adapt to evolving systems and AI-enabled tools

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations and patient flow across the site.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader ensuring alignment and priorities.
• Set clear expectations for staff and ensure understanding of roles and goals.
• Collaborate with the Optometrist to support exam flow and service offerings.
• Coach, develop, and recognize team members while holding them accountable.
• Support new hire onboarding, ongoing training, and system updates.
• Monitor patient feedback and identify opportunities to improve experience and performance.
• Review performance data to identify trends, gaps, and risks.
• Communicate priorities to the team and connect results to behaviors and care quality.
