Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a high-performing optical clinic team. You will drive patient-focused care, optimize daily operations, and partner with the Optometrist to balance clinical service with business goals.

You will guide staff development, manage workflows, and ensure consistency in patient experience across the practice, reporting to Field Leadership. This role demands strong communication and a strategic, hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in optical, healthcare, retail, hospitality, or a comparable service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eyecare or optical practice leadership experience preferred.
• Optician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practice operations, patient flow, staffing, scheduling, labor planning and service execution.
• Serve as the primary on-site floor leader ensuring patient needs and priorities are met.
• Establish clear expectations for staff and align on daily priorities and standards.
• Collaborate with the Optometrist to support exam flow and patient handoffs.
• Coach and develop team members, recognize performance, and hold staff accountable.
• Support new hire development, training, and adoption of updates and AI-enabled tools.
• Monitor patient feedback and service trends to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
• Review performance data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and communicate priorities to the team.
