Job summary

Seen Health, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Practice Manager to lead the clinic day-to-day, coordinating RNs, LVNs, and Medical Assistants. You’ll shape schedules, workflows, and care delivery to ensure timely, coordinated care for participants and families in a language they’re comfortable with.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing a medical office in outpatient settings such as primary care, specialty care, urgent care, or similar
• Experience supervising MAs, RNs, and LVNs
• Proven experience optimizing clinical workflows with measurable improvements
• Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese
• Working knowledge of EMR systems, scheduling platforms, and healthcare compliance requirements
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, public health, or related field preferred
• Experience serving older adults and in PACE, Medicare Advantage, managed care, or value-based care environments preferred
• Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies or related certification preferred
• Experience with audits or regulatory surveys preferred

Responsibilities

• Directly manage Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Vocational Nurses, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, performance reviews, and corrective action
• Foster a respectful, accountable, team-based culture and maintain morale and retention
• Ensure staffing coverage and manage time-off, productivity, and overtime
• Oversee daily operations of the medical office, including patient flow, scheduling, check-in/out, rooming, referrals, and follow-up
• Ensure appointment access standards are met and minimize wait times, no-shows, and missed visits
• Manage supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships; ensure clinic is clean, safe, senior-friendly
• Evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks, design and sustain improvements
• Standardize rooming protocols, pre-visit planning, orders/results management, referrals, and care transitions
• Lead adoption of new technology and AI tools to streamline daily workflows
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, infection control, CMS/DHCS requirements
• Monitor patient safety events and participate in root cause analysis and follow-up
• Serve as escalation point for participant/family concerns; ensure clear, language-appropriate communication
• Collaborate with physicians, APCs, social workers, therapists, transportation; track operational metrics
• Contribute to budget and cost-effective resource use
