Job summary

APLA Health in Los Angeles seeks a Nurse Manager I to lead nursing staff and coordinate care for underserved adults. You will supervise RNs, LVNs, MAs, HIV/STD counselors, and phlebotomists, ensuring quality, cost-effective care and adherence to PCMH standards.

You'll design workflow processes with the CNO/DNO, maintain supplies, and drive staff training, HIPAA/compliance, and quality improvement initiatives across the clinic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and California RN license.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience; at least 3 years in ambulatory clinic management.
• Experience in chronic disease management, case/utilization management, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to RNs, LVNs, medical assistants, and other staff.
• Coordinate patient care, ensure timely referrals, and monitor outcomes.
• Develop and update nursing policies and staff trainings; ensure policy clarity.
• Oversee supplies, dispensary operations, compliance, and audits.
