Job summary

Hayes Cosmetic & Family Dentistry in Hayes, Virginia, seeks a Practice Manager to run a fast-paced dental office and lead a team toward exceptional patient care.

You will conduct staff huddles, stay compliant with OSHA, HIPAA and ADA, foster strong relationships with doctors and staff, support marketing efforts to grow new patients, and ensure the practice meets financial goals.

Qualifications

• Two years of dental office management experience.
• H.S. diploma with college degree or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training required.
• Proficiency with computers; Open Dental experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular staff huddles; foster open communication, provide organization and practice updates and continually challenge and develop staff
• Stay current with the latest OSHA, HIPAA and ADA regulations
• Build and nurture a positive working relationship with the doctors and staff
• Help build new patient growth by supporting marketing programs
• Ensure that the practice is meeting financial goals and formulate plans to mitigate areas of concern

Position Summary:

As a Practice Manager, you will ensure the efficient running of a fast-paced dental office and lead a successful team that consistently meets and exceeds patient, practice and the organization’s expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular staff huddles; foster open communication, provide organization and practice updates and continually challenge and develop staff
• Stay current with the latest OSHA, HIPAA and ADA regulations
• Build and nurture a positive working relationship with the doctors and staff
• Help build new patient growth by supporting marketing programs
• Ensure that the practice is meeting financial goals and formulate plans to mitigate areas of concern

Qualifications:

• H.S. diploma with a college degree or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of two years dental experience in a management role
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law
• Proficiency with computer and Open Dental software a huge plus
