Job summary

University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Practice Coordinator 3 to support cancer center operations in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on scheduling, referrals, revenue cycle management, and patient care coordination, serving as the primary point of contact for patients and staff.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork with administrative and clinical staff, and the ability to manage multiple patient records systems and schedules with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with four years related experience; or college degree and 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination.
• In-person client service experience.
• Scheduling patients.
• Strong computer skills and experience with at least two Office-type programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to navigate through multiple patient records systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under deadlines.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to sit at a computer terminal with telephone headphones for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and revenue cycle management.
• Coordinate patient care and act as the face of the Practice with administrative, clinical, and management teams.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients.
