Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic-Powerplant to perform organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance on aircraft powerplant systems, engines, and related components. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment to meet technical directives and safety standards while supporting on-site operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years’ experience, and ability to obtain/maintain required clearances.

Qualifications

• Requires corrosion detection, treatment and prevention experience.
• Requires ability to obtain and maintain government/company clearances.
• US citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft main and auxiliary power systems and fuel systems.
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair powerplant components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, directives, and procedures.
