Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized lines. The role requires travel to various sites, out-of-state assignments, and a strong safety focus. You will report to the Foreman and train crew members.

Applicants should have five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to work extended hours, outages, and emergencies. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience or more.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including outages, storms, emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction and maintenance of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of Foreman and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Work with live-line procedures using PPE and insulated tools.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment.
