Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an experienced Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. The role involves working on energized and de-energized lines, traveling to multiple job sites, and reporting to the Foreman.

Safety is emphasized in every task, with opportunities for on-call work and overtime. Candidates should have five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and be able to travel long distances on short notice.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems safely.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Perform live-line work using proper PPE and techniques.
• Work at heights and travel to different job sites as needed.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
