Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems with safety first. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to job sites, including out-of-state locations, and report to the Foreman.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and a willingness to work extended hours, outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and outages.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Work outdoors in varied conditions and respond to outages.
• Perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques.
• Follow all PPE safety protocols.
