Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines, travel to different sites as needed, and report to the Foreman.

The role requires time on-site at various locations and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate has five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, and is willing to travel long distances or work outages and emergencies, including on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures, and use testing equipment.
