Pike is seeking a Class A Lineman in North Carolina to construct and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems. You will travel to job sites, including out-of-state locations, and report to the Foreman. The role emphasizes safety and hands-on expertise in high‑voltage environments.

Responsibilities include leading crew activities, training apprentices, and performing live-line work with proper PPE. Outdoor work in varying conditions and on-call rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience required.
• Valid CDL.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Out-of-state assignments may be required.
• Work outside normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles and hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding and voltage safety procedures.
• Climb various structures using approved methods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Support outages, storms, and emergency callouts.
• Perform live-line work with approved PPE and tools.
