Job summary

The Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman who will construct and repair overhead distribution systems with safety as the top priority. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment, reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include leading crew when needed, training apprentices, traveling to out-of-state sites as required, and participating in on-call rotations and emergencies while maintaining strict PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work out of state.
• Work extended hours including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair energized and de-energized overhead distribution systems while safety is priority.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and related hardware.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and respond to outages and emergencies.
