Job summary

Orbia is seeking an Area Sales Manager – Power Utility to grow our business across the U.S. South Central District. This remote, field-based role involves strategic account development, pricing, forecasting, and territory analytics.

3+ days on the road weekly with ~75% travel, focusing on utilities, distributors, contractors, and other partners. Experience in Power Utility sales is required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within the Power Utility / electrical industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, sales, marketing, product management, or related disciplines.
• Experience using forecasting, pricing, budgets and performance data to guide sales decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own sales performance across assigned territories, setting quarterly goals and driving execution.
• Develop and execute growth strategies for the Power Utility market.
• Build long-term relationships with utilities, distributors, contractors, engineering firms and other key industry partners.
• Identify and pursue new customers and business opportunities.
• Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers at end-user accounts.
• Implement pricing strategies that support profitable growth and margin performance.
• Forecast monthly sales volumes and provide visibility into upcoming business needs.
• Use sales and business data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and manage the territory against budget.
• Establish goals for manufacturer representatives and distribution partners and track performance.
• Develop, maintain, and lead manufacturer representatives supporting the territory.
• Partner internally with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to support customers and profitable growth.
• Participate in regular pricing and business reviews and communicate market and customer insights.
• Resolve customer challenges by developing practical, value-added solutions.
