Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Lead Project Engineer to oversee all electrical engineering activities at the job site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution of installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance work.

The role serves as the SME for electrical systems in the field, directing field engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams while coordinating with site operations, design teams, and project management to meet goals and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in electrical field engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience leading field engineering teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, protection schemes, and industrial controls.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical expertise for electrical systems, including power distribution and control panels.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to support installation and commissioning.
• Lead field engineers, providing guidance and technical support.
• Coordinate electrical work with construction, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams.
• Review design documents for constructability and identify improvements.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Keep field records, progress reports, and turnover documentation.
