Amazon.com Services LLC in Cincinnati seeks an experienced Power, Standards, and Hardware Development Manager to serve as the technical authority for power systems and hardware within our global fulfillment center network.

You will lead standardization and innovation across power distribution, controls engineering, and hardware development for material handling, collaborating with WWDE, Operations Engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive safety, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in power systems design, electrical engineering, and/or hardware development.
5+ years in a management or leadership role, including people leadership.

Responsibilities

Design, engineer, and optimize 3-phase power systems and power distribution for material handling.
Develop MDBs, PDPs, and electrical substation specifications with proper sizing and protection coordination.
Create single-line diagrams, power distribution schematics, and panel schedules.
Perform arc flash calculations and labeling per NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584.
Lead hardware development for VFDs, sensors, and predictive maintenance systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to standardize specifications across projects.
