Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking Field Tech/Power Systems Technicians to perform service, testing and maintenance of power transmission and distribution equipment in Denver, CO. Responsibilities include inspection, testing, start-up and data collection for HV systems up to 500kV, with on-call duties and strict safety compliance.

Candidates should have a High School diploma/GED, knowledge of NETA/NEC/OSHA/NFPA, and strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with minimum 1 year related field experience.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA standards preferred.
• Willingness to train or have military electrical power background.
• Ability to work safely and follow electrical safety procedures.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for positions using a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data-collect electrical systems up to 500kV.
• Test and service high, medium and low voltage equipment including switchgear and breakers.
• Perform inspection, maintenance, testing and repair on transformers and related gear.
• Conduct infrared scanning, oil testing and documentation of results.
• Operate high voltage test equipment and assist in start-up and commissioning.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond promptly to customer emergencies when needed.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory safety standards.
