Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Power Systems Architect to translate power delivery concepts into connector and interconnect solutions for hyperscalers and major partners. You will own the technical relationship and align architecture with product capability, guiding design-in activities.

You will collaborate with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to shape roadmaps, document technical requirements, and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated experience translating system-level power architecture into connector/cable specifications.
Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
Willingness to travel to customer and manufacturing sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Independently own technical requirements gathering with customer engineering teams for power architecture.
Translate system-level power architecture into connector/cable requirements for product development.
Lead power-architecture discussions with customers and present solution options.
Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to shape roadmap based on customer needs.
Develop and own technical requirement documents and specification inputs for new products.
Lead qualification, validation, and design-in activities at customer sites.
Track and contribute to industry standards and consortia impacting power delivery and interconnects.
Deliver customer and market insights to internal roadmaps and development.
