Job summary

Amphenol Corporation's ACS division seeks a Senior Power Systems Architect to bridge customer needs and interconnect engineering. You will own system-level power requirements, translate them into connector and cable solutions, and lead technical discussions with hyperscalers, data center teams, and Rack Power ODMs.

This role requires travel to customer sites, a strong background in high-voltage interconnects, and proven ability to drive design-in activities across product engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in power connectors, systems engineering, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability translating system requirements to connector/cable specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for direct customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own technical requirements gathered from customer engineering teams for power architecture.
• Translate system power architecture into connector/cable specifications for product development.
• Lead power architecture discussions with customer teams and present options.
• Partner with product engineering, manufacturing, and R&D to shape roadmaps.
• Develop and own technical requirement documents for new product development.
• Lead design-in activities and qualification at customer sites.
