We are seeking a Power System Engineer to join the team in Texas, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. You will design power connectors and cables, develop solutions with customers, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of connector/cable design experience.
• Experience in connector industry; data center/server knowledge preferred.
• Experience with data center power connectors/cables a plus.
• OCP open rack knowledge is a plus.
• Windchill software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of Power connectors and cables.
• Provide power solutions to data center, telecom, industrial and automotive customers.
• Create drawings, specifications, BOMs and process docs; collaborate across sites.
• Deliver technical training, presentations and customer visits to support sales.
• Coordinate testing and qualifications; evaluate prototypes against specs.
• Support manufacturing on cost reduction, quality and customer issues.
• Monitor industry advances in connectors and interconnects.
• File patent requests when applicable to protect IP.
