Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an Electrical Design Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer program starting in May or June 2027. You will gain hands-on experience supporting power distribution systems and Future Grids technologies in a collaborative environment.

You will develop custom solutions, create engineering drawings with UL/IEC compliant details, and assist across engineering projects. Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, able to work

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Willing to work full-time for 12 weeks.
• Must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support design-to-order environment by developing custom solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Produce engineering drawings with accurate logic, calculations, annotations, and specifications per UL/IEC standards.
• Support electrical design and development activities across engineering projects.
