Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking qualified Electrical Design Engineering Internship candidates for a 12-week summer program starting May or June 2027 at our Wendell, NC office. You will gain hands-on experience supporting power distribution design in a collaborative environment.

You will produce engineering drawings, perform design calculations, and work on projects meeting UL/IEC standards while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Must live within 50 miles of Wendell, NC.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the 12-week internship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Wendell, NC; no relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Support design-to-order environment by developing custom solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Produce engineering drawings with accurate calculations, annotations, dimensions, and specifications per UL/IEC standards.
• Support electrical design and development activities across projects.
