Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking Electrical Design Engineering Interns for a 12-week summer program starting May/June 2027. Based in our EA division, you'll gain hands-on exposure to power distribution systems and Future Grids technologies within a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

You'll contribute by supporting design-to-order work, producing engineering drawings to UL/IEC standards, and assisting across engineering projects while located near Wendell, North Carolina and eligible to

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Available to work full-time 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.
• Located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Enrollment in a continuing degree program required.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Produce engineering drawings with accurate logic, calculations, and specs per UL/IEC.
• Support electrical design and development activities across projects.
