Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC invites students to join the Protection & Automation Electrical Engineering Internship beginning May or June 2027. You will rotate through Protection & Automation teams, supporting engineering, proposal development, and post-delivery activities.

This 12-week, full-time on-site program offers exposure to protection relays, RTUs, HMIs, and testing in the Power & Automation lab.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Electrical Engineering degree (bachelor or master).
• Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks (40 hours/week).
• Located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC; no relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Rotating through Protection & Automation (PPA) teams to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.
• Support engineering, proposal development, and post-delivery activities.
• Assist with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of protection relays, RTUs, and HMIs.
