Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Power Systems Controls group seeks a skilled engineer to develop and deploy PLC/HMI software for power transfer applications, aligning with customer specs and project requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of power distribution controls experience, or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
Regular Driver status with a current, unrestricted driver’s license and MVR check.
Willingness to comply with safety programs and background checks as part of employment requirements.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, test, and deploy PLC/HMI software for Power Transfer applications.
Follow customer and internal specs for project implementation.
Select components and create bill of materials.
Provide sketches and direction for Electrical Designers to develop drawings.
Prepare submittals, SOO, and test procedures.
Assist with factory testing and field start-ups as required.
Troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly.
