Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience with power system protection and relays.
• Knowledge of utility or industrial power systems focusing on protection, control, and operations.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; willingness to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and solutions for protection schemes.
• Teach, advise, and support customers to improve reliability and safety.
• Design demonstrations of new technology for customers to learn value.
• Troubleshoot protection product questions and root-cause analysis.
• Analyze relay responses to faults and educate customers on SEL products.
• Contribute to white papers, guides, and technical papers; collaborate with engineers.
