Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with power system protection and relays.
• Experience with utility/industrial power systems focusing on protection, control, and operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to apply new technologies or solutions to power systems.
• Design models/demonstrations to teach customers how SEL solutions enhance systems.
• Support SEL products and troubleshooting to reach root causes.
• Analyze responses of protective relays to faults.
• Teach customers how to use SEL products and how relays protect equipment.
• Contribute to and review white papers, guides, journals, and technical papers.
