Van Meter Inc. is seeking a Power Control Specialist to drive value for customers across our Industrial Power Solutions portfolio, including VFDs, Power Quality, and Energy Management.

The role blends technical problem-solving with relationship building and business ownership to deliver measurable customer outcomes. You will lead commercial efforts, develop territory competency plans, and collaborate with Account Managers and Inside Sales to grow market share within the authorized territories.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge & understanding of Power Solutions technologies.
• Ability to learn design practices surrounding certifications, system coordination and system safety requirements.

Aufgaben

• Deliver consistent, responsive support that helps customers move forward with confidence.
• Build lasting relationships as a trusted Power Solutions advisor to customers, Account Managers, and Inside Sales teams.
• Serve as a dedicated point of contact for each business unit, connecting people with the expertise and resources they need.
• Develop, document, and execute a territory competency plan that strengthens knowledge to support customers.
• Lead commercial efforts that help key accounts convert to new solutions and migrate existing systems.
• Identify and pursue competitive target accounts in each Power Solutions planning segment to open new relationships.
• Build and maintain a healthy opportunity funnel across planning segments to support growth goals.
• Translate strategy into results by driving revenue performance toward annual plan goals.
• Create, own, and execute a business plan for each planning segment.
