Qualifications

• BA degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in electrical distribution sales or related technical role.
• Advanced knowledge of MV and LV distribution equipment and power systems architecture.
• Strong business and analytical skills; excellent communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Build early opportunity pipeline through input from sales, marketing, and 3rd party databases.
• Qualify opportunities based on Power Systems strategic objectives.
• Develop pursuit strategies with a focus on driving early engagement, promoting targeted product offerings and cross-business unit collaboration.
• Lead opportunities through Customer Project Process (CPP) from pre-sales and tendering to project execution.
• Coach individual sellers on best sales practices.
• Provide formal product training and be an informal technical sales resource on power systems topics.
• Evaluate market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing and competitive conditions.
• Utilize business and financial knowledge to create value propositions.
• Execute competitive sales tactics to win business.
