Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a Technical Sales & Application Manager for Protection & Controls in the West region to drive revenue growth and customer engagement across utility markets. You will bridge application engineering, technical sales, and market development, translating customer needs into actionable solutions and product improvements.

This role requires strong power system protection knowledge, field experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

BSEE or equivalent; MBA preferred.
3–10 years in power systems with protection & control applications.
Experience with protective relays, PQ meters, and automation systems.
Strong communication and ability to influence technical and commercial decisions.
Travel 50–70% to customer sites and offices.

Responsibilities

Lead technical sales for protection, control, and power quality solutions across the territory.
Develop territory sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
Deliver product demos, presentations, and seminars to customers and partners.
Support complex sales cycles with application expertise.
Own planning, forecasting, and CRM for territory execution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Sales teams.
Serve as primary technical advisor on system design and protection schemes.
Travel 50–70% to customer sites, offices, and events.
