WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Utility Operator to assist with operation and inspection of power plant systems, including boilers and related equipment. You will follow procedures, monitor meters, perform water treatment tasks, and manage air pollution controls.

The role requires overtime and rotating shifts; candidates should be comfortable operating Bobcat, forklift, and other mobile equipment while maintaining a safe work environment.

Competenze

• Three or more months related experience and/or training.
• Mechanical skills sufficient to perform tasks like shear pin replacement, valve repacking, and inspections.
• Knowledge to operate power plant auxiliary equipment such as air compressors/dryers, hydraulic units, forced draft fans, pumps, spray dryer/absorbers, and lime slakers.
• Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts.

Mansioni

• Safe and efficient operations of assigned equipment in accordance with established plant operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment including pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, and electrical devices.
• Accurately read and interpret data from meters and gauges to identify malfunctions or abnormal conditions.
• Perform sampling, ash sampling, and water treatment as assigned.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Operate mobile equipment such as Bobcat, steer loader, and forklift.
• Operate refuse cranes and manage fuel into the furnace; maintain a fire watch when required.
• May work extensive overtime hours during planned/unplanned maintenance.
