Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations seeks a Shift Supervisor to direct the Operations Department and plant staff to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient plant operations. The role emphasizes enforcing policies, training personnel, and managing administrative duties.

The position requires experience in industrial plant environments, knowledge of safety standards, and the ability to work swing/rotating shifts. Overtime and on-call duties may be required depending on plant needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree desirable.
• Two years in a power plant environment or 5 years related experience with training.
• ASME QRO Provisional license required.
• For Massachusetts facilities, a 2nd Class Engineers license is required.
• Math skills to complete job functions.
• Knowledge of steam generating power plant operation.
• Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
• Working knowledge of PC operations.
• Overtime and on-call duties may be required; swing/rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises Operations Department for safe, clean, and efficient operations during duty hours.
• Enforces company policies, environmental compliance, and safety requirements.
• Trains shift personnel in safety, procedures, and compliance; implements training programs.
• Maintains lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and welding permits programs.
• Performs administrative tasks: appraisals, disciplinary forms, reports, and attendance documentation.
• Creates work requests using CMMS and maintains activity logs.
