Job summary

SEEC Brand is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Maryland facility to lead plant operations, ensure environmental compliance, and coordinate safety-driven maintenance. The role requires hands-on boiler knowledge and a track record of effective team leadership.

The successful candidate will manage 12-hour shift schedules, oversee safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement in operations and training across a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• Engineering degree is desirable but hands-on experience with high-pressure boilers is required.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument/control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, training, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel at the facility.
• Keep the plant within environmental limits and permits.
• Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
• Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits per procedures.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and coordinate maintenance for optimal performance.
• Train and manage a capable, flexible, cross-trained workforce.
