Job summary

SEEC Brand in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a power generation facility. This full-time, on-site role requires ensuring a safe working environment, adherence to all policies and environmental permits, and reliable plant performance.

You will lead a skilled workforce, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate maintenance, and direct shift checks on a rotating 12-hour schedule that includes day and night shifts, weekends, and outages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in power or resource recovery plant operations.
• HS Diploma or GED required; an Engineering Degree is desirable but not required.
• Experience with high-pressure boilers and electrical generation; formal technical training.
• Knowledge of steam generating power stations and instrument/control systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain the plant within environmental permits.
• Emergency response to injuries or accidents.
• Direct completion of shift, daily, weekly, monthly checks.
• Approve removal of equipment from service and issue safety permits per procedures.
• Troubleshoot plant operational issues and coordinate maintenance for optimal performance.
• Train and manage a capable, cross-trained workforce.
