Job summary

FCC Environmental Services seeks a qualified Plant Operations Supervisor to monitor boilers, turbines and emissions control, while directing shift personnel. You will plan maintenance, track work orders in CMMS, and ensure strict safety compliance and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of plant controls, schematics/P&ID reading, and experience in a power plant environment with a focus on safe, efficient operations. Weekend/rotating shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; technical education is a plus.
• 3–5 years in a power plant environment or 5 years related experience with plant training.
• ASME QRO provisional license within 12 months of employment.
• Ability to read schematics and P&ID diagrams; knowledge of steam plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and control plant systems, boilers, turbines, and emissions control.
• Supervise shift operations to ensure safety, productivity, and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, outages, and unplanned repairs; document activities.
• Maintain CMMS logs, prepare reports, and drive procedure improvements.
• Enforce lockout/tagout and other safety programs; support training initiatives.
