Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative in the Power/HVAC division. You will be the voice and initial contact for customers, renting and selling silenced diesel generators and climate control solutions.

A base salary with monthly commissions is provided, with a minimum onboarding incentive. Responsibilities include establishing new accounts, presenting turnkey services, quoting and credit support, and ongoing customer education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred.
• Strong negotiation and selling skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Increase branch revenue through quality customer service and understanding of specialty rental products.
• Establish new rental accounts via calls and in-person visits.
• Present a full range of turnkey services to customers.
• Provide solutions with job site assessments and professional quotes.
• Educate customers on equipment and conduct demonstrations.
