Job summary

DXP is seeking an IPS Sales Professional – BDM to drive growth in the Power Generation market from Houston, TX. You will identify opportunities, build strategic plans, and manage proposals through to closing, engaging EPCs, contractors, and OEMs.

You will collaborate with applications, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction, while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in sales or business development in power generation.
• Strong knowledge of packaged systems and rotating equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the power generation sector.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to promote packaged systems and pump solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing.
• Collaborate with applications, engineering, and project management teams.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
