Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States seeks a General Superintendent – Power to provide field leadership for natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will develop project plans, direct field operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site activities to meet schedule, budget, and performance goals.

You will bring deep power-generation knowledge, mentor field teams, and collaborate with owners, OEMs and engineering partners to ensure safe, high-quality project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 12+ years construction experience.
• 10+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and injury-free environment with mentoring of staff.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, authorities, subcontractors and departments.
• Follows project filing and documentation system; updates drawings and logs.
• Oversees procurement processes and records unit costs for reports.
• Manages field staffing and ensures staffing aligns with project needs.
• Ensures QA/QC and safety protocols; coordinates turnover with commissioning teams and owners.
