Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States seeks a General Superintendent – Power to lead field operations on natural gas and thermal power generation projects.

You will develop plans, direct subcontractors, ensure safety, QA/QC, and coordinate with owners, OEMs, and engineering partners to deliver on schedule and budget.

The role requires 12+ years of construction leadership and a bachelor’s degree in CM or engineering, with a proven track record in power facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• 10+ years field supervision experience; 12+ years construction experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to ensure injury-free environments.
• Communicate project information to owners, design team, subcontractors.
• Oversee project filing, updates, and logs.
• Approve unit costs for weekly reports and manage cost codes.
• Coordinate field operations and subcontractor management to meet schedule and budget.
• Recruit and develop top talent for field teams.
• Lead Lean processes and drive field operations strategy for power projects.
