Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC seeks an Engineering Account Manager - Power Generation to lead strategic growth for key client accounts and coordinate with engineering teams. Role blends client management, business development, and project leadership across power generation projects.

You will work closely with leadership to identify opportunities, shape scope, and drive projects from opportunity through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• Power Generation experience a plus.
• Proven leadership of teams or complex projects.
• Strong project management knowledge and tools.
• Experience managing client relationships or strategic accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to navigate cross-functional, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary relationship leader for assigned strategic accounts and build long-term client partnerships.
• Understand client objectives, project groups, organizational structure, and decision makers.
• Identify strategic opportunities and translate needs into defined project scopes.
• Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to develop client solutions.
• Ensure smooth transition from opportunity to project delivery with clear scope, timeline, and budget.
• Monitor project health and communicate progress, risks, and changes to clients.
• Identify opportunities for additional work and coordinate with leadership on proposals.
• Maintain strong client service and drive continued partnership through delivery.
