Job summary

D2B Groups seeks a General Service Operations Manager to lead daily generator service operations across the Northeast, driving profitability, technician productivity, and high customer satisfaction. You will oversee dispatch, parts, and admin teams, set performance expectations, and build scalable systems for growth.

This hands-on leadership role requires field experience, customer-facing interactions with facilities directors, and the discipline to turn a busy shop into a well-run operation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in generator, power generation, or related heavy equipment service with 3–5 years in service operations management.

Responsibilities

• Lead service, dispatch, parts, and admin staff; set expectations and hold teams accountable.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain field technicians; build bench strength for growth.
• Develop technician career paths, training plans, and certifications including OEM programs.
• Oversee scheduling, PMs, repairs, startups, and 24/7 emergency response.
• Manage fleet, tools, and test equipment; ensure uptime and safety.
• Own the safety program and OSHA compliance; build scalable SOPs.
