Job summary

D2B Groups LLC in Ohio seeks a General Manager to own the business's operations and finances across service, construction, and shop activities. You will protect and advance our code certifications while building a durable leadership culture in a labor-constrained trade.

You will inherit experienced field technicians and key customer relationships, raise margins, tighten execution, and modernize systems without disrupting what already works.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership in boiler/mechanical contracting.
• Direct P&L accountability for a multi-revenue operation.
• Proven track record of improving gross margin and operating income.
• Experience building financial reporting from operational data.
• Ability to lead 15+ employees across field and office teams.
• Fluency with service management and ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L: budget, forecasting, and variance discussions with ownership.
• Develop and defend budgets across service, projects, parts, and shop work.
• Improve gross margin, monitor cost-to-complete, and manage WIP.
• Lead safety, code compliance, and quality control programs.
• Build and lead a high-performing multi-disciplinary team.
