Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction activities on large-scale power generation and industrial projects. The role provides field leadership, coordinates with project teams, and drives safe, on-time project execution from planning through turnover.

The position requires strong knowledge of electrical installation, ability to manage large craft workforces, and willingness to travel to multiple project locations in North America.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical construction on industrial/power projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical construction activities on large projects.
• Direct craft supervision and coordinate daily work plans to meet milestones.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, quality, and scheduling teams.
• Monitor productivity, manpower, equipment utilization, and progress; resolve field issues to protect schedule and cost.
• Review drawings and work packages to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support workforce development through coaching and training of field personnel.
• Participate in planning meetings, safety reviews, and project reporting.
• Ensure quality standards are met and assist with turnover and commissioning activities.
