Raytheon in Huntsville, AL is seeking an engineering student for an internship/co-op in Power Electronics & Controls. You will design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuitry, guiding PCB layout and technical drawings while working with a cross-disciplinary team.

The role supports multidisciplinary design efforts and requires pursuit of an Electrical Engineering degree with at least 30 credit hours completed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Lab experience in power electronics or controls is preferred.
• Familiarity with circuit simulators such as SIMPLIS, Saber, or analysis tools like Mathcad.

Responsabilités

• Design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PCB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.
• Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.
• Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and staff.
