Job summary

RTX is seeking a candidate for a Power Electronics & Controls role in Huntsville to design, analyze, and test power conversion circuitry including buck/boost topologies. You will guide ECAD/PCB layout and work as part of a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree and hands-on experience with analog electronics, plus familiarity with simulation tools and PCB design practices.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM required; background in electronics.
• Experience with resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors.
• Experience with buck, boost, buck-boost converter topologies.
• Analog design and testing with FET, BJT, Op-amps.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze (including thermal) and test power conversion circuitry.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PCB layout and drawings.
• Work within schedule and present technical reviews to leadership.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced environment.
